Data Science Expert is responsible for developing advanced analytics, machine learning models, and AI solutions to support strategic and operational objectives across the bank. This role leverages large-scale banking data to enhance customer experience, optimize risk management, improve fraud prevention, strengthen regulatory compliance, and drive data-driven business growth.

Responsibilities:

Advanced Analytics & Data Science

Analyze large and complex datasets from core banking systems, digital channels, CRM, and external sources.

Develop predictive and prescriptive models to support business decision-making.

Generate actionable insights to improve customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.

Design and monitor performance metrics for banking products and services.

Customer & Marketing Analytics

Develop customer segmentation, churn prediction, and cross-sell/up-sell models.

Analyze customer behavior across digital and traditional banking channels.

Support personalized marketing campaigns through advanced analytics.

Improve customer lifetime value and engagement strategies.

AI & Digital Banking Innovation

Leverage AI, machine learning, and Generative AI technologies to improve banking processes.

Design recommendation engines and intelligent decision-support systems.

Participate in digital transformation and analytics innovation projects.

Evaluate emerging technologies and data science methodologies.

Regulatory Compliance & Model Governance

Ensure compliance with Basel regulations, IFRS 9, AML requirements, and internal model governance standards.

Maintain documentation for model development, validation, and audit reviews.

Support regulatory reporting and model risk management activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor‘s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related disciplines.

At least 8 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, or Quantitative Modeling.

At least 3 years of experience within Banking, Financial Services, Fintech, or Insurance industries.

Experience developing analytical solutions in a regulated environment is highly preferred.
