Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining and governing the organization‘s technology architecture strategy, ensuring alignment between business objectives, digital transformation initiatives, and technology investments. This role establishes enterprise-wide architecture principles, standards, roadmaps, and governance frameworks to drive business agility, operational efficiency, innovation, and risk management.
Enterprise Architect collaborates with business executives, technology leaders, solution architects, and external partners to develop target-state architecture and guide technology decisions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture Strategy
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and governance framework.
- Define current-state, target-state, and transition architecture roadmaps.
- Ensure alignment between business strategy, digital transformation programs, and technology initiatives.
- Drive architectural consistency across applications, infrastructure, data, security, and integration domains.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Master‘s Degree in Information Systems, Technology Management, Business Administration (MBA), or related field is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience across multiple technology domains.
- At least 5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Technology Strategy roles.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-wide.
- Experience in large and complex organizations.
- Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or highly regulated industries experience is highly preferred.

Với ứng viên từ ngân hàng khác
- Đừng nhảy việc quá sớm ở cấp độ này. ACB nổi tiếng với văn hóa execution-first và lâu dài. Hãy thể hiện bạn gắn bó và xây dựng.
Với ứng viên từ fintech/tech firm
- ACB đang chuyển đổi số mạnh, đón nhận nhiều best practices từ các công ty công nghệ. Hãy nhấn mạnh execution ability chứ không chỉ là vision.
Với ứng viên nước ngoài / Việt kiều
- Văn hóa ngân hàng Việt rất đặc thù. Tìm hiểu về văn hóa tổ chức, cách ra quyết định trong ngân hàng trước khi phỏng vấn.
Với fresh-grad / junior
- Vị trí này chưa phải lúc cho bạn. Hãy dành 5-7 năm để tích lũy kinh nghiệm thực chiến trước khi apply.

Câu hỏi thường gặp
Enterprise Architect khác gì với Solution Architect? Tôi đang là Solution Architect 4 năm, có apply được không?
Hoàn toàn apply được, đây là bước tiến rất tự nhiên.
Khác biệt cốt lõi:
- Solution Architect thiết kế một hệ thống cụ thể trong 1-2 năm, ưu tiên hiệu quả kỹ thuật.
- Enterprise Architect nhìn toàn bộ tổ chức trong 3-5 năm, ưu tiên alignment chiến lược kinh doanh và chuẩn hóa công nghệ.
- Câu hỏi thường ngày của Solution Architect: "Hệ thống này xây thế nào?"
- Câu hỏi thường ngày của Enterprise Architect: "Hệ thống nào nên xây, hệ thống nào nên tắt?"
Từ Solution Architect 4 năm, nếu bạn đã:
- Dẫn dắt ít nhất 1-2 dự án lớn end-to-end
- Có chứng chỉ TOGAF hoặc đang học
- Được business tin tưởng, có kinh nghiệm cross-team
…thì bạn ở vị trí rất tốt để apply. Hãy nhấn mạnh vào tầm nhìn, governance, stakeholder management trong CV.
Tuy nhiên, đừng bỏ qua: nhiều vị trí EA tại ngân hàng lớn yêu cầu 10+ năm. Bạn nên đọc kỹ JD và cân nhắc apply ở vị trí Senior Solution Architect trước nếu cảm thấy chưa đủ kinh nghiệm.
Tôi mới ra trường, có nên apply vị trí này không?
Câu trả lời ngắn: Không nên. Đây là vị trí cấp cao (thường 10+ năm kinh nghiệm), và nhà tuyển dụng sẽ gần như chắc chắn từ chối hồ sơ của bạn ở vòng HR screening.
Lý do:
- EA đòi hỏi trải nghiệm sâu rộng về nhiều domain (Application, Data, Security, Infrastructure, Business)
- Phải có uy tín nghề nghiệp để được business lắng nghe
- Cần kinh nghiệm thực chiến với các hệ thống production quy mô lớn
- Cần uy tín để điều phối nhiều Solution Architect và team lead
Lộ trình phù hợp cho bạn:
- Năm 0-3: Software Developer (Java/.NET/Python), thành thạo 1 stack + 1 cloud
- Năm 3-5: Senior Developer / Tech Lead, học microservices, DDD, Kafka
- Năm 5-7: Solution Architect, bắt đầu học TOGAF, tham gia thiết kế cross-team
- Năm 7-10: Senior/Lead Architect
- Năm 10+: Enterprise Architect
Nếu bạn thật sự muốn vào khối CNTT ngân hàng, hãy bắt đầu với vị trí Fresher/Junior Developer tại ACB hoặc đối tác (FPT Software, TMA…).
Tôi đang làm ở fintech (Momo, ZaloPay, Timo…), có nên chuyển sang ngân hàng truyền thống như ACB không?
Câu trả lời ngắn: Có thể rất tốt, nhưng cần lường trước vài điều.
Lợi thế khi chuyển từ fintech sang ACB:
- Kinh nghiệm cloud-native, microservices, DevOps
- Tốc độ và văn hóa "ship fast" từ fintech
- Mindset data-driven, customer-centric
- Đây là những thứ ngân hàng truyền thống đang rất cần để chuyển đổi số
Thách thức cần chuẩn bị:
- Văn hóa ngân hàng chậm hơn, nhiều governance hơn fintech
- Phải hiểu nhiều quy định pháp lý (NHNN, PCI-DSS, ISO)
- Phải hiểu về hệ thống core banking, payment rails
- Compensation có thể thấp hơn fintech cùng cấp, nhưng ổn định hơn
Lời khuyên:
- Trong phỏng vấn, hãy nhấn mạnh bạn từng giải quyết vấn đề ở quy mô lớn với hàng triệu người dùng
- Thể hiện khả năng thích nghi văn hóa ngân hàng: tuân thủ quy trình nhưng vẫn mang tinh thần cải tiến
- Nếu được, hãy tìm hiểu ACB trước vài tháng: đọc tin tức, thử dùng app ACB, nói chuyện với người quen trong ngân hàng
ACB trả lương vị trí Enterprise Architect như thế nào so với thị trường?

Vị trí này yêu cầu TOGAF, tôi chưa có chứng chỉ này có apply được không?
Có thể apply, nhưng chứng chỉ TOGAF sẽ là lợi thế rất lớn. Câu trả lời phụ thuộc vào JD cụ thể và background của bạn.
Phân tích:
- TOGAF là chuẩn phổ biến nhất cho EA, các ngân hàng lớn ưu tiên ứng viên có chứng chỉ này
- Tuy nhiên, nhiều JD dùng TOGAF là "nice to have" chứ không phải "must-have"
- Nếu bạn có kinh nghiệm EA thực tế ở một framework khác (Zachman, FEAF, hoặc tự xây dựng), vẫn được chấp nhận
Chiến lược:
1. Apply ngay nếu bạn có 10+ năm kinh nghiệm EA thực chiến. Đánh giá của HR sẽ dựa trên track record hơn là chứng chỉ.
2. Nếu bạn "thiếu" chứng chỉ, hãy:
- Cam kết trong phỏng vấn sẽ hoàn thành TOGAF trong 6 tháng đầu
- Có thể học TOGAF Level 1 trong 2-3 tuần (không khó)
3. Nếu bạn chưa EA bao giờ, hãy lấy chứng chỉ trước khi apply.
Học TOGAF mất bao lâu?
- Level 1: 1-2 tuần study + thi (online, ~300 USD)
- Level 2: thêm 2-3 tuần study + thi (~300 USD)

Tôi có 8 năm kinh nghiệm (Solution Architect) nhưng chưa từng làm ngân hàng, có cơ hội không?
Có cơ hội, đặc biệt nếu bạn đến từ các ngành khác cũng có regulatory nặng: viễn thông, năng lượng, y tế, bảo hiểm, chính phủ.
Điểm mạnh bạn có thể mang đến:
- Kinh nghiệm ở các hệ thống lớn, scale cao
- Tư duy kiến trúc đã được training kỹ
- Có thể làm việc với nhiều stakeholder
- Có khả năng học hỏi nhanh (8 năm là 8 năm)
Điểm bạn cần chuẩn bị thêm (1-2 tháng):
- Banking domain: core banking, payment rails, ISO 20022, regulatory
- Rủi ro cụ thể: NHNN Circular 17/2020, PCI-DSS, GDPR/PDPA VN
- Sản phẩm ngân hàng: thẻ tín dụng, cho vay, tiền gửi, treasury, trade finance
- Từ khóa dễ bị "đánh rớt" trong phỏng vấn: Thanh khoản, Basel III, ALM, NPL, COF
Lời khuyên:
- Trong CV, đừng nói bạn biết ít về ngân hàng. Thay vào đó, nhấn mạnh khả năng áp dụng kiến trúc tương tự vào bất kỳ ngành nào có regulatory phức tạp
- Trong phỏng vấn, hỏi ngược: "Tổ chức có chương trình onboarding về banking domain không?" – thể hiện bạn ham học hỏi
- Đọc ít nhất 2 cuốn: "Digital Banking" (Banking Strategy in the Age of Digital Transformation) và "Bank Management and Financial Services"
Câu hỏi whiteboarding trong phỏng vấn EA thường như thế nào? Làm sao để không bị "đứng hình"?
Whiteboarding là "khoảnh khắc thật" nhất trong phỏng vấn EA. Dưới đây là cách chuẩn bị.
Dạng câu hỏi thường gặp:
- "Hãy vẽ kiến trúc cho một nền tảng open banking"
- "Hãy thiết kế hệ thống xử lý 1 triệu giao dịch/giây"
- "Một ngân hàng muốn số hóa quy trình cho vay, bạn làm sao?"
Framework trả lời (5-7 phút):
1. Clarify (1 phút): "Trước khi vẽ, cho tôi hỏi vài điều…"
- Quy mô users, transactions
- Channels (mobile, web, partner)
- Constraints (compliance, cost, time-to-market)
- Có hệ thống legacy không
2. Draw context (30 giây): Vẽ user, main systems, data, integrations ở mức high-level
3. Drill-down (2-3 phút): Chọn 2-3 thành phần quan trọng nhất, vẽ chi tiết
4. Trade-offs (1 phút): Nêu các quyết định design: tại sao microservices? tại sao event-driven? tại sao AWS thay vì Azure?
5. Risks & Mitigations (1 phút): Bảo mật, khả năng mở rộng, vendor lock-in
6. Migration roadmap (1 phút): 3 giai đoạn trong 2-3 năm
Mẹo không bị "đứng hình":
- Bắt đầu từ use case, không từ tech stack. "Người dùng A muốn làm gì?"
- Nói chuyện nhiều hơn vẽ. Giải thích lý do mỗi quyết định
- Dùng template quen thuộc: Luôn bắt đầu với Business → Application → Data → Infrastructure → Security (BADS pattern)
- Luôn vẽ dưới dạng box-and-arrow (không cần UML chuẩn)
- Dùng màu để phân biệt các layer: xanh dương (business), xanh lá (app), cam (data), đỏ (security)
